A sample of Environment shots I had the pleasure of working on during the production of the 'Sola' expansion for Dead Island 2.
Responsibilities included:
- Whitebox, greybox and first architecture/dressing pass for the exterior and interior of the Sola Hub.
- Creating a modular asset set for the draped festival tents.
- Authoring trim textures and tiling materials.
- Creating various environment assets including props and architecture.
- Fabric simulations.
- Asset and collision optimizations.
Huge thanks to all the artists who also worked on these areas, particularly Liam Pickford who did the second pass of the hub and Mark Eastland who I worked with as support for the Utopia Bay and Eclipse Courtyard environments.
